This week we will begin studying the Elements of Music. The first element will be Form.  Theatre class will study "Parts of the Stage".

 

Following are your assignments for the week:

 

B DAY -  1st Period - 6th Grade Chorus and Theatre 

 

Tuesday 

• The Elements of Music, and journaling

• Activity - Finding the Form of a piece of Music

 

Thursday 

• "Parts of the Stage" with Activity

 

 

All Chorus Classes - A & B Days

 

Monday/Tuesday

• The Elements of Music, and notetaking

• Analyze a piece of music using the Elements of Music:  Form

• Post music in The Music Room Discussion

 

Wednesday/Thursday

 

• The Element of Music - Dynamics

• Activity using Dynamics

• Music and the Brain - video and response
